We Will Help You Realize Your Vision

We offer interior and exterior painting for residential projects and provide educated and neighborly advice for choices you have your heart set on. You may want to go bold and choose red as your front door pop-of-WOW color, but if that door receives hours of sunlight each day, it may go from bold red, to muted red or pinkish depending on the tone after time. Giving you insight for what could happen in the future plays a role in the selection process.

It’s truly incredible how much an environment can change with just a paint color. Tones of paints offer different feelings of cool and warm. Choosing gray, one of the most popular neutral colors for home design, can actually be more complicated than one may think. The wide range of cool vs warm tones, saturation, dark and light can offer an array of options.

Fun Fact: Did you know that there are 18 decillion varieties of colors? In a lab, we can see around 1,000 levels of dark-light and about 100 levels of red-green and yellow-blue. That’s about 10 million colors! Now add in how colors are viewed: on surfaces, as light sources and volumes. It keeps multiplying by the millions. It’s pretty exciting to know that the perfect color is available for you. Read more at azcentral.com from author Clay Thompson.

Along with the color selection, the type of paint is going to be the number one factor in keeping that investment a smart and lengthy one. Flat, matte, eggshell, satin, gloss, semi gloss, different types of primer, brand. Each finish needs to be strategized to what is being painted, the conditions the space will endure, the overall feel and aesthetic affect and daily maintenance. This will be talked about during the complimentary quote. We would love to see you again in the future, but not to repaint something done two years prior. A new project, absolutely, but we want your current investment to last that makes sense with your lifestyle.

If you are looking for a non toxic or VOC free paint, we have options to support a healthier approach to your painting selections. What is VOC? Volatile Organic Compound- harmful chemicals that release gasses into the air and the environment, which is now regulated by the government. Some side effects of exposure to VOC can include- headaches, fatigue, dizziness, allergic skin reactions, central nervous system, liver and kidney damage, nausea, and nose and throat discomfort.

Benefits for low or VOC free paint- they cover effectively, dry at a great rate, have a lower odor and less impact on the air quality, are easier to clean with soap and water compared to other paints, have a quality finish for wear and tear overtime, non yellowing, can adhere to many surfaces, great at covering flaws and reduce allergy-causing toxins. There are a variety of brands to select from that offer chemically safer options including: Sherwin Williams, Valspar, Benjamin Moore, AFM Safecoat, Clare Paint, Green Planet Paints, Magnolia Paint and Old Fashioned Milk Paint Company to name a few.

Prep work is important, we take time to prepare the surface before application. We cover and protect the surrounding surfaces and furniture and leave the space in either the same or better condition prior to project execution. If you need drywall patchwork done, ceiling repairs, new trim installed, or support with overall space design to compliment the painting, we can make sure your project is taken care of from all angles.

Quality is at the top of our list. The preparation and painting is not rushed, even though efficiency and time management is important, we calculate the needed time to create the best results. If we don’t see the results we want, we shift from plan A and implement plan B, C or D. Sometimes weather conditions can alter time, so we get to communicate and implement what most makes sense for the overall quality.

Some interior and exterior painting examples include (but not limited to):
